March 27, 2013 - If you live in the USA and are placing a music order you now have the option of choosing "USPS Media Mail" rates when you access your "bag" (shopping cart) in the store. It's a bit cheaper than First Class but it also takes longer to arrive (up to 9 working days). Savings are especially evident when ordering two or more pieces (up to 5 pounds of music costs only a little more than 4 dollars to ship!). The new "Media Mail" option is only available to USA domestic orders. Please note - if you need your music to arrive sooner you must select First Class or better.

February 27, 2013 - I've just completed my newest work, "Concerto for Two Trumpets". This 17-minute long, 3-movement piece will be officially premiered at the 2013 International Trumpet Guild Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan in June. The work is scored for 2 B-flat Trumpets and wind ensemble and will also be available in a piano reduction version. If you are a consortium participant please don't forget to email me your physical address so I can send out your complimentary hard copy of the version for 2 trumpets and piano. Thanks again to all the consortium participants who made this possible! Both piano and band versions will be available for sale soon.

May 21, 2012 - If you happen to be at the ITG conference in Columbus, GA this week don't miss the University of South Alabama Trumpet Ensemble perform my piece "Conquest". Performance time is 8:25AM in the Studio Theatre on Wednesday, May 23. Also check out Middle Tennessee State University Trumpet Ensemble on the same day at 10:55AM at Legacy Hall play "Infinite Ascent". And on Friday May, 25th the University of Alabama Trumpet Ensemble will perform "Music from Strange Places" at 8:55AM in Legacy Hall. Also on Friday the University of Southern Mississippi Trumpet Ensemble will perform "Cyclone" at 9:25AM in Heard Theatre. These pieces and a few others will be available at the Hickey's Music Center display in the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. I wish to thank those who chose to perform my music at the conference and wish them the best!

April 15, 2012 - You can hear sneak previews of all of my 2012 offerings for Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble and String Orchestra by launching the mp3 player on the left. For Concert Band the new titles are Caliber, Harlequin Dance, Wingwalker and an arrangement of Debussy's Reverie (all published by FJH Music Co.). For Jazz Ensemble I have arranged another great tune by Freddie Hubbard entitled Povo (published by Belwin Jazz). And, finally, I've arranged It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year for string orchestra (published by FJH Music Co.). All of these selections will be available by early Summer of 2012.

March 26, 2012 - I've just completed a new fanfare that will be published by Triplo Press as part of a collection called Nine Celebratory Fanfares for Six Trumpets, Volume 1, edited by James Olcott. This piece was commissioned by the University of South Alabama Department of Music Trumpet Studio under the direction of Dr. Peter Wood for premier performance at the 2012 ITG Conference in Columbus, Georgia, USA.

October 12, 2011 - "Within Sacred Walls" is a piece for six trumpets that was commissioned to commemorate ITG's 35th year and was featured as a music supplement in the recent ITG Journal.
