Current Projects (to be published in 2012)
Povo – Freddie Hubbard (grade 3) - The early seventies brought wide acclaim to jazz great, Freddie Hubbard, with such record releases as Red Clay (1970), First Light (1971) and Sky Dive (1973). These were productive years for Hubbard as he composed many titles that would end up as standard jazz literature. This arrangement of "Povo" borrows some of the textures and flavors of the original and blends in some creative arranging techniques. Freddie Hubbard made great music and remained productive until he passed away on December 29, 2008. His legacy will certainly live on in his music. (Belwin)
