This work is dedicated to all those who had to endure many hardships during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The piece depicts the thoughts and emotions of those who are forced to endure a hurricane.
Grand Valley State University Trumpet Ensemble premiered this work to a FIRST PLACE finish at the 2008 National Trumpet Competition in Fairfax, Virginia (George Mason University) on March 13, 2008.
