“CUERNOS” was composed to feature special mutes designed by Chris Legaux (Owner, Trumcor Mutes). The piece consists of three movements, each featuring a different mute. Each movement was designed to showcase the unique qualities of each mute. The Trumcor mutes used are: Sonic Vortex, Eclipse, and Luna. You can also purchase just the music here. Without doubt, some will ask if this piece can be performed with mute substitutes. Although this is possible, it's not recommended. Remember that each movement was created to take full advantage of each of the Trumcor mute's unique qualities. Therefore technically there are no substitutes.
